Das Foto zeigt ein charakteristisches städtisches Ensemble des historischen Hamburger Hafengebiets: die eiserne Pickhubenbrücke (1887) im Vordergrund, den schmalen Kanal des Kleinen Fleets, gesäumt von Backsteinlagerhäusern aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert, sowie den gotischen Turm der Hauptkirche St. Katharinen, eines der ältesten Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
English: View of the Pickhuben Bridge, the Kleine Fleet, and St. Catherine’s Church in Hamburg from room 402 of the Ameron Hotel on the morning of September 30, 2025. The photograph captures a characteristic urban ensemble of Hamburg’s old port area: the iron Pickhuben Bridge (1887) in the foreground, the narrow canal of the Kleine Fleet lined with brick warehouse buildings from the late 19th century, and the Gothic spire of St. Catherine’s Church, one of the city’s oldest landmarks.
