File:Indic mediawiki developer group at WTS 2024.jpg

[edit]
File:Indic mediawiki developer group at WTS 2024.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Invitation to feedback session

[edit]

Hello Dev_Jadiya! 👋

My name is Sarai Sanchez, and I'm a member of the Product Design team at the Wikimedia Foundation. We're conducting a round of online interviews to gather feedback from Toolforge users on new tool management features. We believe that you recently created a Toolforge account, and that makes you a great candidate for the exploration. Would you be interested in taking part? If so, please fill out this short survey. Participants will receive a thank-you gift as a token of our appreciation.

Thank you for your time and consideration! SSanchez-WMF (talk) 19:37, 5 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello SSanchez-WMF,
Thank you for reaching out and considering me for the feedback session. I’m happy to have filled out the survey and appreciate the opportunity to contribute. If there’s anything else I can help with or any further feedback you need, feel free to reach out. I’m glad I could assist! Dev Jadiya (talk) 04:52, 6 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2024 voting is open!

[edit]

Dear Wikimedian,

You are receiving this message because we noticed that you previously voted in the Picture of the Year contest. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2024) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

In this second and final round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2024.

Round 2 will end at UTC.

Click here to vote now! If you have already voted for Round 2, please ignore this message.

Thanks,
the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee

Your reviews of QI candidates

[edit]

Hello!
Please take a moment to review the voting process on the QI page before leaving too many votes. You're overloading the nomination section. Please stop supporting images that have already been promoted. There is no need to vote in support of candidates with a green border or to reject candidates with a red border. This delays promotion, as the bot only takes into account the time of the last vote. A reviews for candidates who have not yet been considered (blue borders) will be useful. Thank you.
With best regards, -- George Chernilevsky talk 07:26, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello George,
Thanks for letting me know! I’ll focus on reviewing only the blue border candidates from now on and avoid extra votes on images already promoted or declined. Dev Jadiya (talk) 08:11, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrol given

[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. Abzeronow (talk) 01:22, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
