Getting help

Beste, Ik heb op het strand van Vlieland exact dezelfde palmpit gevonden. Ik vermoed ook meegekomen met een schip dat is vergaan hier voor de kust. Anefo foto

Hi Mr, In 2014 uploadde je deze foto als CC-0, en òf de NA heeft de licentie bijgewerkt, of het is een foute upload geweest. De afbeelding is momenteel niet downloadbaar ivm de auteursrechten, en er staat "© Arbeiderspers / IISG" bij als rechthebbende. Enig idee hoe dit zit? Ciell (talk) 12:01, 6 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Als ik me ermee mag bemoeien: er zijn twee Anefo-foto's van Malenkov waar iets niet mee klopt. Ik noem ze voor het gemak even foto 1 en foto 2. Allebei dateren de foto's zogenaamd uit 1964. Dat is evident onzin. Malenkov was op het hoogtepunt van zijn macht in de Sovjet-Unie in 1953. Twee jaar later werd hij ontslagen als premier en in 1957 uit het presidium en weer 4 jaar later zelfs uit de partij gegooid. Ook als je zijn kop op deze foto's vergelijkt met deze foto 3 uit 1955, is het duidelijk dat de foto waar het hier in eerste instantie om gaat (foto 1) natuurlijk hoogstwaarschijnlijk een officiële foto uit 1953 is. Dan het auteursrecht. Het Nationaal Archief is al een jaar of wat bezig om licenties en bijschriften bij te werken, onder meer van de Anefo-collectie. Daarbij passen ze regelmatig zaken aan, ook in licenties. Vermoedelijk hebben ze dat ook met deze foto gedaan. Omdat in Commons zelf tegelijkertijd ook dingen veranderen, is dat moeilijk gelijk te trekken. Mr.Nostalgic en ik hebben contact met het Nationaal Archief en proberen van beide kanten verbeteringen (bijv. in de beschrijvingen van de Indonesië-foto's) semi-geautomatiseerd over te zetten. Volgens het opschrift in foto 1 was het auteursrecht van de foto bij De Arbeiderspers; volgens het huidige bijschrift in het archief bij De Arbeiderspers / IISG. In de beeldbank van het IISG vond ik de foto niet. Dat maakt ook niet veel uit. Volgens Russisch auteursrecht is de foto in het Publiek Domein (officiële foto, voor 1 jan. 1955 gepubliceerd, geen fotograaf vermeld). Ik ga twee dingen dingen doen: (a) de jaartallen in foto 1 en 2 (en afgeleide foto's) aanpassen en (2) CC-0 veranderen in PD-Russia-expired. Vysotsky (talk) 13:54, 6 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Dank. Ik wacht meestal even de reacties af voor ik actie onderneem. Dat ga ik nu doen. Foto 3 en 4 duidde ik aan met "afgeleide foto's" - die worden heftig gebruikt en zal ik uiteraard meenemen. Nu ik hier toch ben heb ik nog een vraagje. In 2016 heb je de foto's van Jacob Olie op Commons gezet. Ik vind het een prachtige collectie en wil graag meer met gestructureerde data doen voor deze foto's. Ik zat onder andere te denken om de (soms verdwenen) Amsterdamse straten en buurten te koppelen vanaf, of aan te maken op, Wikidata. Is het databestand van destijds geschikt voor zoiets?
